After a brief time in the transfer portal, Boise State starting quarterback Taylen Green has announced his commitment to transfer to Arkansas.
Green helped lead the Broncos to the Mountain West Conference championship this season. He threw 25 touchdowns with 15 interceptions, while rushing for 19 touchdowns and 1024 yards over the course of the season.
In 2023, Arkansas' starting quarterback was KJ Jefferson. Jefferson is in the transfer portal, but has not yet announced a decision if he will return to Arkansas or go elsewhere.
”I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.“

In a statement that Green provided to KTVB in Boise, he said "I am undeniably a better man today than I was when I first arrived in Boise in 2021 as an 18-year-old freshman."
Green was a sophomore this past season. He is originally from Lewisville, Texas, roughly an hour northwest of Dallas.
Boise State will play UCLA in the LA Bowl on December 16. Both true freshman CJ Tiller and sophomore walk-on Colt Fulton are reportedly taking practice reps at quarterback in preparation for that matchup.
