Urban Meyer Makes A Very Interesting Statement About Ohio State’s 2024 Team Which Will Shock Many Fans
Junfu Han / USA TODAY NETWORK

Ohio State, a beacon of excellence in college football, sets the bar high for its players, expecting a title win each season.

Urban Meyer Was One Of Best Coaches In Ohio State History

One of the guys who could feel what winning a title at Ohio State was like is former head coach Urban Meyer. After the 2018 season, he stepped down as head coach and turned the program over to his offensive coordinator, Ryan Day.

Meyer is one of the best coaches to walk a college football sideline. He won two titles at Florida and one with the Buckeyes, so he knows what it takes to have a winning team. Meyer thinks this Buckeye team can be one of the best.

Meyer Thinks Ohio State Could Be One Of The Best Teams In The Last Six To Seven Years

On Tuesday, a post from Pro Football Focus on the social media platform X showed a picture of Ryan Day and then a quote from Urban Meyer saying, “This might be the most talented team in the country in the last six or seven years.”

Meyer Is Setting The Bar High For His Former Team

Meyer is showing a lot of love to his former team, and there is a chance he could be correct, but Ohio State has to win it all even to be close to being one of the best teams in the last six to seven years. Over the past seven years, we have seen some outstanding football teams like Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Michigan, and the 2019 LSU Tigers, who might be among the best teams in the sport’s history.

It’s excellent that Meyer is saying great things about the Buckeyes, but they need to show it on the field this fall, and hopefully, they can win the title.
