What Will The International Team Look Like?

Weir's proclamation all but set the International Team for this year's tournament in Montreal. The fact a "team" dinner already took place leads golf fans to believe Weir already has his mind made up regarding the roster. Given the LIV Golf exclusion and current points outlook, Tom Kim, Jason Day, Hideki Matsuyama, Nick Taylor, Sungjae Im, Emiliano Grillo, Ryan Fox, Min Woo Lee, Adam Hadwin, Benny An, Adam Scott, and Corey Connors appear set to head to Montreal.

Keep in mind that the season is young. There's plenty of time for other names to creep into contention, but most of the aforementioned players seem destined to head north for the event.

Though harsh and swift, Weir has been dedicated to the PGA Tour and growing the game for over two decades. The lefty has been outspoken when it comes to LIV Golf, and this week's comments only solidified his stance.

On the links, I'm not sure if this team is competitive enough to take down the U.S. squad come fall. The Americans' roster will most likely look similar to the Ryder Cup "boys club" golf fans are used to seeing every fall.
