A combined table score of +29, it was these boys day today at The Players Championship, disastrous day for some of the big names in Golf. You have to love the way the boys can have a laugh over it, you can always expect that from Tottenham Hotspur supporter Ian Poulter.

Sergio Garcia is currently leading the field, but from an Irish perspective Shane Lowry is currently flying it on -4 and will fancy his chances to go on and compete and be in the mix over the weekend. Where’s as his fellow Irish man McIlroy will have his work cut out to make the cut at this rate. The defending champions had a shocker today including a double bogey on the 18th hole.

Would you put a few quid on Shane Lowry to go on and win the Players Championship over the weekend or will Serigo Garcia keep the lead and add another trophy to is collection?
