Before the current season began, GSW fans were hopeful that the subtraction of Jordan Poole and the addition of Chris Paul can usher the team to a whole new era. But thanks to injuries, suspensions, and key players not performing like before, the Dubs struggled to keep up with other contenders in the Western Conference.

Fortunately, some of the Warriors’ young stars started to show flashes of potential during the regular season. Jonathan Kuminga displayed his two-way game, while rookies Trayce Jackson-Davis and Brandon Podziemski stepped up during crucial moments for the Dubs.

Now that the regular season has concluced, the Warriors find themselves with the 10th seed and the final spot in the Play-In Tournament. Unlike younger teams like the Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves, the Dubs will have to fight tooth and claw to ensure they get make a meaningful run in the playoffs.

Over the course of 82 games, the Warriors field an offense that’s ranked eighth in the league. While their offensive game looked good, their 15th-ranked defense isn’t doing the team any favors.
