Norris Cole Signs With Puerto Rican Club

Former NBA guard Norris Cole has agreed to a contract with Osos de Manati of Puerto Rico, the team announced.

Cole, 35, spent this past season playing for the now-defunct G League Ignite.

A former star guard at Cleveland State who was selected with the No. 28 overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft. He then went on the play alongside LeBron JamesDwyane Wade and Chris Bosh with the Miami Heat from 2011-14, winning two championship rings along the way.

After that, Cole spent time with the New Orleans Pelicans and Oklahoma City Thunder, last appearing in an NBA game in 2017-18. Since then he has spent time in Puerto Rico, Montenegro, France, and Egypt. He played part of the 2022-33 season with the Grand Rapids Gold of the G League as well.

Cole is 6-foot-2 and carries NBA career averages of 7.0 points and 2.7 assists over six seasons.
