Cleveland Browns have their second player they’re set to sign in free agency. Unfortunately, it comes after losing a team captain to the Miami Dolphins.

After Anthony Walker Jr.’s departure , the Browns are set to sign former Minnesota Vikings LB Jordan Hicks.

Hicks comes to the Browns on a two-year deal worth $8 million. The veteran linebacker recorded 236 tackles over the last two seasons in 30 starts with the Vikings.

Before his time with the Vikings, the 31-year-old spent three seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. The Philadelphia Eagles drafted Hicks in the third round back in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Hick’s best season came back in 2019 when he had 150 tackles, 3 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, and 1.5 sacks with the Cardinals. He is actually from Ohio and played his high school ball at Lakota West, then went to play in college at Texas.

Walker leaves Cleveland after starting 27 of 28 games he played in over three seasons. During his time in Cleveland, he was often injured, but Walker was a good locker-room guy and a solid linebacker presence when on the field.
