Cowboys sign Keanu Neal to one-year, $5 million deal

Free-agent safety Keanu Neal and the Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a one-year, $5 million deal, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

The 25-year-old spent five seasons with the Atlanta Falcons but missed the 2018 season after tearing his ACL. He also missed the 2019 campaign with a torn Achilles tendon.

Neal returned to the field in 2020 and recorded one interception, one fumble recovery, one sack, 100 tackles and nine tackles for a loss.

He joins former Falcons head coach Dan Quinn, who is now the Cowboys defensive coordinator, in Dallas.
