Omar Khan hints Steelers aren't done in free agency

The Steelers have been busier than usual in free agency with Omar Khan in charge and their new general manager hinted they aren't quite done adding to the roster yet.

"Free agency's not over. There's a lot of good players still out there and we continue that evaluation process, continue to have conversations with several guys," Khan told reporters. "You'll see over the next few weeks more guys might come available, and we'll stay ahead of that."

There are a couple of positions to watch as Pittsburgh continues to build its roster for the 2023 season: pass rusher and slot receiver.

It was already reported that the Steelers are planning to bring in free-agent pass rusher Bud Dupree, who played in Pittsburgh the first six years of his career, for a visit. It's a highly likely reunion if Dupree is healthy after playing in 11 games in back-to-back seasons.

Khan also said the team will be looking at slot receivers to find one that fits "what they want to do as an offense."

A name to potentially watch is Jarvis Landry. The 30-year-old previously played in the AFC North with the Browns from 2018-21 and would likely be open to the opportunity of playing his former team twice a year.

Whichever way the Steelers decide to go, there's more excitement on the way for fans in Pittsburgh.
