The Los Angeles Rams have kicked off free agency with some significant moves, addressing a variety of needs in order to improve for the 2024 season.

The Rams started on the offensive side of the ball with the additions of Jonah Jackson and Colby Parkinson, helping them address their run blocking needs.

They then shifted their focus to the defensive side of the ball and specifically the secondary, bringing back a familiar face in Darious Williams and then a promising young safety in Kamren Curl.

Additionally, the Rams have now made an addition at linebacker by re-signing Christian Rozeboom, who they decided not to tender, per Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic:

Rozeboom originally signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2020 out of South Dakota State. He mainly played on special teams until 2023, when he earned a starting linebacker spot alongside Ernest Jones after the departure of Bobby Wagner.

In 17 games for the Rams in 2023 (five starts), Rozeboom posted career-highs across the board with 79 total tackles, two tackles for losses and four passes defensed.

The Rams typically do not like to commit a lot of resources to the linebacker position, so bringing back Rozeboom on a cheap one-year contract makes a lot of sense.

Rams star Aaron Donald announces retirement from NFL

The Rams still have more notable needs to address on defensive from here, most notable on the line. They still have not addressed the edge position and now have a need at defensive tackle after superstar Aaron Donald announced his retirement.
