The NFL schedule release took place on Wednesday night, and we now know what the Seattle Seahawks will endure during the regular season. Seattle is looking to make a run to the postseason, and Seahawks fans are eager for the season to start now that the schedule is out. Here are predictions for all 17 of those regular season games.

Week 1 vs. Denver Broncos

The Seahawks will get the season started with a home game against the Broncos. Denver has a lot of question marks at the quarterback position with Jarrett Stidham, Bo Nix and Zach Wilson competing for the starting job. Regardless of who gets it, Seattle will win in week one. WIN.

Week 2 at New England Patriots

New England will be an interesting team to watch this season after drafting Drake Maye with the third overall pick. It will likely take him some time to get adjusted to the league, and the Patriots will fall in week two against the Seahawks. WIN.

Week 3 vs. Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins will be coming to town in week three, and this will be a tricky matchup for Seattle. Miami has a lot of speed to cover on offense, and they will be able to come in and get the road victory to hand the Seahawks their first loss of the season. LOSS.

Week 4 at Detroit Lions

The Seahawks have been good against the Lions the past couple years as they have beat them in their last two matchups, but that won’t happen this year. Detroit is going to be a very tough team to beat yet again this year, and they aren’t going to let Seattle knock them off at home for a second straight season. LOSS.

Week 5 vs. New York Giants

Seattle should be able to bounce back at home against the Giants in Week five. New York won just six games last year and they aren’t expected to be very good this season. This is the type of game that the Seahawks have to have, and they will get it. WIN.

Week 6 vs. San Francisco 49ers

The Seahawks will be back at home in Seattle in week six to take on the defending NFC champs. The 49ers are once again going to be extremely good, and the Seahawks aren’t quite going to be on their level. They will suffer a loss in this one. LOSS.

Week 7 at Atlanta Falcons

Seattle will travel in week seven to Atlanta to play the Falcons, who will be an intriguing team to watch. Will the vet Kirk Cousins be their QB, or will rookie Michael Penix Jr. win the job? Who knows, but expect them to find a way to knock off the Seahawks. LOSS.

Week 8 vs. Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen and the Bills are coming to Seattle in week eight, and this will be a tough matchup for the Seahawks. The Bills should be a playoff team once again, and they are going to leave Seattle with a victory. LOSS.

Week 9 vs. Los Angeles Rams

The Seahawks will host the Rams in week nine, another team that made it to the playoffs last season. They will obviously play twice as these teams are in the same division, and Seattle will take round one at home. WIN.

Week 11 at San Francisco 49ers

The Seahawks aren’t going to knock off the 49ers at home, and they aren’t going to be able to do it on the road either. San Francisco will take care of business in week 11 and earn a season sweep of the Seahawks. LOSS.

Week 12 vs. Arizona Cardinals

This is one that the Seahawks will need to get as they will be at home against the team that finished in last place in the division last year. This is the first of two meetings between the Cardinals and Seattle, and the Seahawks will earn a victory. WIN.

Week 13 at New York Jets

The Jets are another team that struggled last season, but if Aaron Rodgers can stay healthy this year, they could be a different team. However, there are just too many what ifs surrounding that squad. Seahawks win on the road in week 13. WIN.

Week 14 at Arizona Cardinals

Round two against the Cardinals will be more difficult as they will be going on the road, but this is a game that the Seahawks need to have, and they will get it. Seattle will pull off the season sweep of Arizona. WIN.

Week 15 vs. Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love and the Packers didn’t look great to start last season, but they ended up getting hot and making the playoffs. They knocked off the Dallas Cowboys on the road in the postseason as well. They are expected to be very good this season, and they are going to knock off the Seahawks. LOSS.

Week 16 vs. Minnesota Vikings

Another NFC North matchup for the Seahawks in week 16 for Seattle. QB play will be big for the Vikings this season and it’ll be interesting to see if rookie JJ McCarthy can win the starting job. Minnesota will go down in Seattle in week 16. WIN.

Week 17 at Chicago Bears

A third straight NFC North opponent for the Seahawks as they will travel to Chicago in week 17. Bears fans can’t wait to see rookie QB Caleb Williams in action as he is expected to help turn the team around. They will pick up a win against Seattle in week 17. LOSS.

Week 18 at Los Angeles Rams

The Seahawks will finish the season on the road this year as they will take on the Rams in Los Angeles. Round one went to the Seahawks at home, but the Rams will find a way to get things done at home to conclude the regular season. LOSS.

Final Record: 8-9

The Seahawks finished right around the .500 mark last season, and a similar regular season could be coming for this upcoming year as well.
