Should Steelers Consider Levi Wallace Trade?
USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Steelers added both top-end talent and quality depth at cornerback this offseason, but is it enough to make them comfortable parting with one key veteran?

Steelers corner Levi Wallace has been floated as a potential trade candidate with the Detroit Lions seeking help for a thin secondary. Right now, the risk is way too high for the team to consider letting him go, but that could change when training camp rolls around or later, if their young pieces prove to be as good as advertised.

But Pittsburgh could use all the help they can get in the secondary against a division loaded with good receivers because right now, at least one sportsbook has them as the AFC North team most likely to finish in last place. The Steelers haven't done that since 1999.

This is also a big year for Jaylen Warren, who's earned comparisons to a superstar running back and could fit seamlessly into the Steelers' offense, even if Najee Harris lives up to the lofty expectations laid out for him this season. The Steelers still will have an excellent 1-2 punch at running back this coming year.
