From The Locker Room: Predators Celebrate Cody Glass’ Hat Trick

The Nashville Predators matched the second-longest win streak in franchise history on Saturday night with a 5-1 win over the Colorado Avalanche at Bridgestone Arena.

Cody Glass notched his first career NHL hat trick and first career three-point game, becoming the 29th player in franchise history with a three-goal game (the 49th hat trick in Predators history). Glass has four goals and seven points in 11 games since the All-Star break.

Ryan O’Reilly and Tommy Novak also tallied a goal each — both on the power play — and goaltender Juuse Saros stopped 25 of 26 shots (.962 save percentage) for his 26th win of the year, tying him for sixth-most int he NHL. Saros has won his last six starts with a .954 save percentage and 1.55 goals-against average.
