Avoid any injuries on Sunday at Livingston and Brendan Rodgers should have his strongest squad available for Glasgow Derby…

We’ve received some great news these last few days. Not only is Brendan Rodgers available for touchline duties next Sunday, but both Callum McGregor and Reo Hatate are now in contention for a first team start and Cameron Carter-Vickers is also available.

Despite Calmac receiving some stick this campaign, it’s been pretty obvious in his absence that we’ve badly missed his presence in the middle of the park.

The same can be said of Reo. He’s been plagued with injury all season and we’ve struggled without his creativity in the middle of the park.

Having both back for the run in will only enhance our chances. It still remains to be seen if either of them will play any part on the hazardous Livi surface on Sunday, but both should be in contention for the big one at Ibrox next week.

Injuries and suspensions permitting, we should have a strong squad available for selection next Sunday. CCV is of course back, and touch wood he comes through the trip to Livingston unscathed.

Liam Scales should also be available and with Yang also back it will give us greater strength and depth, and much more options from the bench. Add to that the form of Nicolas Kunh and the resurgence of Kyogo and things are suddenly looking a bit more optimistic.
