Tottenham faced disappointment on Saturday, conceding a late goal against Everton that cost them two valuable points.

Despite Richarlison giving Spurs an early lead, Calvert-Lewin swiftly equalised.

Richarlison, however, scored his second late in the first half with a spectacular strike from outside the box, seemingly securing Tottenham’s lead.

The game turned in stoppage time os the second half when Jarrad Branthwaite headed home from close range after Cristian Romero flicked on James Garner’s delivery.

However, fans have noticed that just before the free kick, Everton captain Seamus Coleman was engaged in apparent mind games with Romero, making hand gestures in his face.

This exchange may have contributed to Romero’s misjudged headed clearance.

The personal battle between Coleman and Romero continued after Branthwaite’s goal.

Instead of celebrating with his teammate, Coleman stood firm, laughing in Romero’s face.

Watch the incident below:

Coleman’s attempt to get into Romero’s head seemed to pay off, causing a setbackfor the otherwise world-class player.

Despite this disappointment, Romero is expected to bounce back stronger from this incident, given his stellar performance throughout the season.
